With your computer lately you’ve had a couple of issues and don’t know what to do next. It’s annoying, but you hate to spend the expense and time of having a technician come and fix the problem. For some common problems try these quick fixes before carting your system down to the repair centre.

Remove the bloatware and crap from your PC. While any program you required should be kept, there are likely a many dozen more that you don’t require. If there are 3 ebook readers on your PC, uninstall the two which are not needed. Same, remove games you don’t play and the video streaming services you don’t use. These programs are taking up memory on your hard drive; which will slow your system down while looking for updates.
For program it takes forever to load or it crashes
Check to see if there is update for the program you use. It will either be found in the program’s help menu or if it is a program you got from the Mac or Windows App store, check there for the updates. Bugs that may slow your PC, the updated software is likely to have bugs fixed. Also updated software comes with new features that make the program better than earlier version of it.
To “get on the Internet” It takes on forever
Chrome, IE and FireFox -this latest generation Web browsers are the most used programs on your PC and every time you add tool it adds to the browser’s capabilities. If you are using the PC for more than a few months, it’s likely you have garnered a collection of extensions. You don’t need them at all as all the browsers automatically search from the address bar. Uninstall the extra extensions. So the system won’t load all the extra extensions and your browsing sessions will be faster.
The Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered.
You will see this issue eventually on systems that have a lot of programs. Your graphics drivers of Windows system are either corrupted or some program isn’t quite compatible with the driver you currently using. Only solution is to update your display driver. Just go into Windows Update and search for “Graphics Driver” under option hardware updates. Simply update your driver. Visit website for your graphics card such as (Intel), (Nvidia GeForce) or (AMD Radeon) and install the correct one for your graphics card.
